Reaching Esperanto from the Gambia is easy and straightforward.
We can collect you directly from Banjul Airport or your hotel (84 Euros, 3 hours). Alternatively, you can go to Kartong and we can pick you up after you have crossed the river there. You can also, of course, use your own transport and come either via the Gambian customs post at Darsalami or the Seneglese one at Seleti.

By Road
There are two possibilities to reach Ziguinchor from Dakar :
Avoiding the Gambia, this is a 910 km drive by car, lasting 20 to 24 hours Dakar - Kaolack -Tambacounda- Kolda - Ziguinchor
Or by taking the transgambian route, a 450 Km drive, lasting 8 hours, inch allah ! Dakar-Kaolack-Ziguinchor.
At Faraféni in Gambia, a ferry makes return journeys to cross the Gambian river, costing 500 F.Cfa (less than 1 Euro) per personne and 3.500 F Cfa (around 5 Euros). for a car. The crossing lasts 15 minutes plus 1 hour driving to enter Senegal. You do not need any visa for Gambia. A further 3 hours driving brings you to Ziguinchor ..
In Dakar you will find « taxis-brousse 7 places », at the « gare routière Pompiers",and minibus taxis, a slower option, at the market Grand Yoff.
